thursday thursday

so today I’m posting from my phone so please forgive my grammar and such. today started off as a decent day until I got to the second shop of my route, where six mechanics informed me that all of their paychecks bounced last night. this upset me. they all usually are very good paying customers and I count on about 200 bucks from them each week. shit. my thumbs already hurt, but this is mentally therapeutic. I brought my new camera with me today and have been taking pictures of some of my stops, which is fun. it made theguys feel special. they liked the idea of me doing a day in the life project so maybe ill have to do that hardcore one day soon. I can’t wait to hone my skills with this thing. ouch. enough for now

METHOD

Today I woke up and as usual didn’t go to work.  I havent had a dependable work truck in months now and I’ve finally given up on it.  This morning I submitted a loan application for a new $74,500.00 truck.  At least it’ll keep me on the road. I hope that goes through as rapidly as possible because AFTER the approval it still takes about 3 weeks to complete the truck.  I also finally got the insurance claim for our driveway completed which should net us about $1500.00.  Another insurance claim for my business was also finally funded today after TWO MONTHS of bullshit red tape.  The only direction things can go now is up:)  After I got out of work today, my mom brought my birthday gift over early because she’ll be working on the actual day.  I got a new Olympus FE-330 in blue.  So far I’m lovin it and yes, one of the first pics I took was of my nekked wifey:)  After my first photo shoot (two pictures), we went downtown for a Method cleaning products demonstration.  It was pretty cool and there was some semi-celebrity designer there teaching people how to paint plates.  The coolest part was that they had snacks, desserts, and WINE! I love free entertainment
